Parenting Special Kids Network exists to partner with parents and caregivers of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities to provide support groups, help accessing resources, one-on-one consultations, and assistance to ensure their children have access to all the accommodations necessary to thrive.

WE WILL FULFILL OUR PURPOSE BY OFFERING:

​

1. Parent-to-Parent Support includes connecting parents and caregivers with a group or couple who has a child with a disability to meet with on a regular basis for support and encouragement. We also have a list of trusted professionals/counselors if requested.​

 

2. One-On-One Consultation to lay out a plan to ensure the family has access to all the resources available.  This includes but is not limited to: SSI, DDD, AHCCCS, Guardianship, Special Needs Trust, Vocational Rehab, ABLE Accounts, College Special Needs Programs, Assisted Living, and Diagnosis-Specific Agencies.  

 

3. Individualized Support, Training, and Assistance to ensure the parents are equipped to complete all steps necessary while applying for services.
